Effective:
These terms apply when you use this website and when you buy concrete block from 3R Blocks LLC. Your quote is the document that fixes price, quantity and dates; these terms sit behind it.
1. The agreement
These terms apply to 3rblocks.com and to any quote, order or delivery arranged through it. “We” and “us” mean 3R Blocks LLC, 744 Walnut Ave, Bensalem, PA 19020. “You” means the person or company using the site.
Using the site means you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to.
2. What this site does
The site publishes our catalog and list prices, estimates quantities with the block calculator, takes quote and booking requests, tracks orders, and gives account holders a portal to see their own quotes and orders and message their sales rep.
It is not a checkout. No payment is taken on this website, and submitting a booking does not buy anything.
3. Quotes and orders
- A booking or quote request is an invitation for us to quote. It is not an order and it does not reserve stock.
- A quote we send you is the binding document. It states the products, quantities, prices and the date it expires.
- Accepting a quote, in the portal or in writing, confirms the order at those figures.
- Prices published on product pages are list prices per unit and per pallet. They are current at the time of publication and are confirmed on your quote.
- We sell by the pallet. The minimum order is one pallet, and each product page states its units per pallet.
- Pennsylvania sales tax and freight are quoted separately unless the quote says they are included. Tax-exempt buyers must give us a valid certificate before we invoice.
If a price on the site is obviously wrong (a typographical or system error), we will tell you before the order goes ahead rather than hold either side to it.
4. Calculator, specifications and estimates
The block calculator is an estimating aid. It works from the dimensions you enter and standard coursing, and it cannot see your drawings, your waste, your bond pattern or your site. Check its output against your own take-off before you order.
Specification sheets give nominal and actual dimensions: actual is nominal less a 3/8" mortar joint, which is how ASTM C90 units are cast. Measured properties such as compressive strength, fire rating and absorption are published only where our plant's own test reports support them, and are omitted rather than estimated where they do not.
Color, texture and finish vary between production runs, as they do with any concrete product. Order color-matched work in one run where the match matters, and expect natural variation between deliveries.
5. Delivery and pickup
- Delivery dates are our best estimate and depend on production and haulage. We will tell you as soon as we know a date has moved.
- You are responsible for safe, legal access to the delivery point for a loaded truck, and for somewhere to put the material once it is there.
- Delivery is kerbside to the nearest safe point unless the quote says otherwise. Offloading arrangements are stated on the quote.
- Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, or on collection if you are picking up from the plant.
- Check the load before signing. Shortages or visible damage must be noted on the delivery paperwork at the time and reported to us within 48 hours; anything else must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
6. Payment
Payment terms are set out on your quote or invoice and arranged with our office. Title in the goods stays with 3R Blocks LLC until they are paid for in full, even though risk has already passed to you on delivery.
Where an order has to be produced to your specification, we may ask for a deposit before production starts. That is stated on the quote, not applied afterwards.
7. Changes and cancellation
Tell us as early as you can. An order can usually be changed or cancelled without cost before it enters production. Once material has been produced, batched to your specification or loaded, we may charge for what has already been made or moved.
Standard stock items returned in resaleable condition may be accepted at our discretion, and a restocking charge may apply. Custom, cut or color-matched items are not returnable.
8. Portal accounts
- Give accurate details when you register, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your login.
- An account belongs to a person, not to a company. Three buyers at the same firm each see only their own quotes and orders.
- Your account only shows records that match an email address Firebase has verified as yours.
- Messages you send in the portal are business records. Your sales rep, their manager and our administrators can read them, and we keep them with the order.
- We may suspend an account that is used to misrepresent who you are, to reach records that are not yours, or to abuse the service.
9. Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site in bulk, probe it for vulnerabilities, attempt to reach data that is not yours, interfere with its operation, or use it to send anything unlawful. Automated collection of our catalog or pricing is not permitted without our written agreement.
10. Our content
The 3R Blocks LLC name, logo, site design, photography, product descriptions and specification sheets are ours. You may print or download material for your own use in specifying and buying from us; that is what it is for. Republishing it, or using it to sell someone else's product, is not.
11. Warranty and disclaimers
We warrant that our concrete masonry units are manufactured to meet ASTM C90 where the product page says so, and that they are free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. That is the whole of the warranty we give.
We do not control how our block is designed with, stored, mixed, laid, cured or maintained, and we do not warrant the performance of a structure built with it. Design and installation stay with your engineer and your mason.
The website itself is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or always reachable.
12. Limits on liability
Where we are liable, our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for the goods supplied under it, and, at our option, to replacing the goods or refunding what you paid for them.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, delay costs, or the cost of work built on or around the goods, to the extent the law allows us to say so. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the courts of Bucks County, Pennsylvania have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top tells you which version you are reading. The terms that apply to an order are the ones in force when your quote was accepted.
